Our ideal candidate will have 3+ years of civil litigation experience, with substantive deposition and motions experience. Trial experience is a plus. The candidate should be a self-starter who is able to take ownership of cases. The position requires the ability to manage complex case assignments, strong communication, research and writing skills, and the ability to manage and communicate with clients on an ongoing basis. Education, Experience and Skills Required:Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law schoolActive North Carolina and South Carolina bar license3+ years’ professional civil litigation law practice experienceStrong technological skills, including proficiency with practice management systems and portalsSuperior research skills, including the use of online services and databasesProject management skills, including the ability to successfully manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlineExcellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsAbility to work independently and maintain a high degree of confidentiality Physical Requirements:Sitting position static for up to one-half hour at a timeLifting and carrying up to 20 pounds occasionally, up to one hour per dayBending and stooping occasionally, up to one-half hour per day
