Essential Functions:
•        Draft, negotiate and review contracts including real estate and office leases, engagement letters and contracts with clients, information technology contracts and various agreements related to employment
•        Draft, review and update corporate policies and procedures annually to address emerging issues
•        Assist operating units to manage and resolve disputes with clients, vendors employees or third-parties
•        Gather facts and conduct internal interviews regarding claims and investigations, gather documents and coordinate with outside counsel when necessary
•        Assist in management of claims and litigation, including interviewing and selecting/retaining outside counsel to assist in gathering documents in response
•        General legal research and continuing education
•        Support committees responsible for setting company policy, including compliance, risk, incident response, and crisis management
•        Advise business units and corporate functional groups on general legal matters, including contracts, data security and data privacy, employment, intellectual property and securities law
•        Reinforce the ethical standards of the company as a member of the team that sets the tone at the top
•        Participate in discussions with leadership for major policy and business decisions
•        Adhere to ethics and employee code of conduct policies and, as appropriate, communicate the same to subordinates
•        Perform other duties as assigned
 
Preferred Qualifications:
•        The successful candidate will be credentialed in applicable areas of expertise (i.e. law, accounting, tax, product/services) with at least ten years of relevant experience in the field or industry.
•        Must have strengths in leadership and management from a strategic perspective.
•        Excellent verbal and written communication skills, collaborative with internal groups to reach workable solutions, able to anticipate problems, creatively assess alternatives and manage conflicts.

Minimum Qualifications: 
•           Juris Doctoral degree 
•           2 years of job-related prior experience 
•           Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each 
•           Proficient use of applicable technology 
•           Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization
•           Possess problem-solving ability through detailed analysis of various rules, regulations and laws 
•           Proven high level of business integrity, client service and leadership skills
