The Program Manager (Contract Manager) leads a team of Contract Management professionals and provides direct support for an assigned portfolio of contracts in Public sector (State and Local segment). Program Managers are responsible for ensuring compliance of all regulatory and operational commitments made to customers and serve a vital role to minimize overall risk and maximize revenue and profit through each contract.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Supervise Contract Analyst and/or Deputy Program Manager coworkersLead all efforts to operationalize and market contractsRespond to customer requests for audit and project manage processConduct internal audits to measure regulatory and operational complianceProvide preliminary dispute resolution to ensure customer satisfactionConduct presentations to senior leadership internally and externallyMaximize contract productivity and profitEducate sellers, partners, and customers on proper contract usageDraft and negotiate master sales agreements, special programs, teaming agreements, amendments, addenda, and other contractual documents, as neededConduct performance review of all existing and expiring agreements, make recommendations regarding strategic enhancements, and lead renewal effortsConduct business reviews with the business and customers, as necessaryEnsure compliance of all service levels committed to as part of contracts assigned
Qualifications:
Education And/or Experience Qualifications
Bachelor’s DegreeFour (4) years of relevant contracts management experience
Other Required Qualifications
Effective communication skills (verbal and written)Experience presenting to senior and executive level managementStrong problem-solving skillsStrong project management skillsProven success in negotiating complex contract mattersKnowledge of standard procurement contracting and proposals processAbility to develop, analyze, and interpret complex statistical data and/or to develop contracting strategies based on this informationAbility to work effectively and collaboratively to solve contract matters and drive desired business outcomesOperates autonomously with minimal guidance requiredAbility to influence decisions and motivate positive changeImpeccable attention to detail and produces high quality work productExperience with handling sensitive, confidential matters appropriatelyProficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and AccessAbility and willingness to travel 10% or as needed to other CDW locations, meeting and client site
Preferred Qualifications
Five (5) or more years of IT industry contract management experiencein Public sector (State and Local)Knowledge of CDW/G Business SystemsAdvanced in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AccessServed as a team leader or influencer in previous rolesExperienced presenter and/or trainerContract negotiation experience
Pay range: $88,000 - $122,400 depending on experience and skill set
Annual bonus target of 5% subject to terms and conditions of plan
