The Manager, Regulatory Affairs plays a crucial role in advocating AA’s policy and legal positions to the Administration, including the U.S. Department of Transportation and other federal agencies. As a key member within Regulatory Affairs, this role will champion the long-term strategy and goals of the organization.

What You'll Do

Assist with regulatory and legal analysis, advice, and agency interaction on federal matters involving American Airlines Participates actively in regulatory investigations, enforcement matters, crisis management, and other significant projects involving regulatory compliance Works to ensure the development and execution of policy, strategy, and tactics that are integrated with the Company’s government affairs priorities, including advancing policy positions that support the Company’s objectivesResearches and monitors federal government activities that could affect the Company’s businessParticipates in industry related organizations

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience

Demonstrates the highest level of ethics and integrityBe a graduate of an accredited law school with a LL.B., J.D., or equivalentBe an active member in good standing of the bar in a state or territory of the United States or the District of Columbia or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico

Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience

3-5 years of specialized legal experience, or equivalent academic achievement (e.g., law review, clerkships, internships) is preferred
