SVB is currently seeking candidates for the position of Corporate Counsel (or other title depending on experience) to advise on global compensation and benefits and other general corporate work. The successful candidate must have strong knowledge of core federal and state compensation/benefits and related tax laws and regulations, including ERISA, Internal Revenue Code (including Section 409A), as well as compensation disclosure and governance requirements under applicable SEC and NASDAQ rules. Experience working with or for a banking institution or other regulated business is a plus.
SVB is headquartered in the Bay Area in Santa Clara, California. This position may be based in any of the following key SVB office locations: California (Santa Clara, San Francisco or Palo Alto); New York (New York City); Arizona (Tempe); Colorado (Denver) or other location near an SVB U.S. office. The position will report to the Deputy General Counsel.
