Fourth is looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator & Legal Operations Manager to join our fast-paced corporate legal department and drive our legal operations functions. This is an ideal role for someone who is eager and excited to establish best practices in legal operations. You will drive and manage the legal department’s commercial transaction, corporate governance, compliance, and litigation administrative functions. You will serve as a thought leader implementing strategies and executing initiatives to increase the velocity of Fourth’s business. What You'll Be Doing. . .

    • Support legal operations and contract administration
    • Assist in improving contract management workflows inside contract management software
    • Support sales teams, developers, and other business units in connection with review, negotiation, and administration of confidentiality and other agreements
    • Manage procurement contract workflow
    • Support and manage contract assignment processes
    • Support contract negotiations, maintenance of form agreements, and customer engagement processes
    • Coordinate legal training sessions to advise business units on best practices to limit risk and use legal services efficiently
    • Assist in maintaining the legal department's internal webpage and cross departmental communications
    • Manage legal vendors to optimize efficiency, help to reduce overall spend, and assist in completing monthly review/audit of legal invoices, including accruals, and spend report preparation.
    • Act as a utility player and work across a variety of projects and teams

What You Need to Have. . .

    • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate, JD or a desire to attend law school is a plus - This role can be expanded for a junior-house attorney with a desire to learn how to advise internal clients and draft and negotiate SaaS agreements and other commercial agreements
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with 2 years’ in-house legal department experience
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, and Teams), Slack, Adobe, and DocuSign
    • Interest in the contracting process and learning new tools to continually increase department efficiencies
    • Experience with contact management software (e.g., Ironclad, LinkSquares, Apttus, etc.) a plus
    • Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity with the ability to cut through complexity and bring structure to chaos
    • Strong listening skills and can communicate complex matters in a clear and concise manner.
    • Highly collaborative with a track record of establishing enduring, trust-based relationships with key business partners and stakeholders
    • Organized and detail-oriented
