About the role:

The Regulatory Operations team is responsible for project managing and supporting discrete tasks to ensure compliance with federal and state health plan and provider data requirements.

The Regulatory Operations Associate will work closely with external regulators.

You will report into the Sr. Manager Regulatory Operations. This is a remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Washington. Note, this list of states is subject to change. #LI-Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Own the project management of provider data and annual QHP filings (form, binder, rate, network) with state regulators, state exchanges, and CMS, developing action plans that ensure regulatory approval
  • Own multiple, simultaneous and diverse projects while achieving deadlines and managing competing prioritiesDevelop and maintain successful relationships with regulatory bodies, including state insurance regulators (e.g., DMHC in California, Arizona Department of Insurance, Texas Department of Insurance), and state-based exchanges (e.g., Covered California)
  • Partner with business owners to translate and operationalize data and regulatory filing requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of commensurate experience.
  • 3+ years of SERFF, HIOS, and/or network data analysis experience
  • Demonstrated project management skills

Bonus points:

  • A technical bend and the ability to use tools to answer your own questions (e.g. SQL/Python)
