Langley Kreuze has strong roots in the Central Valley. She is from Lodi, California, but also grew up in Asia and the Middle East. She is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, where she double majored in psychology and Southeast Asian studies. She worked briefly at a psychiatric facility in Stockton, California which affirmed her passion for helping individuals with disabilities.
