We help prepare our providers for the rise in consumerism and value-based care, so that they can get paid accurately, and timely, for their services.As Senior Counsel, you will report to the General Counsel and primarily will be responsible for contracting and transactional activities.
To be qualified for this position, you:
Must have a passion for and strong experience drafting contracts as this will be the major scope of your work
Must show success with contract negations
Must have excellent written and verbal communication as you will be delivering numerous presentations
Must be organized as you will be working on as many as 6 contracts at a time
Should have experience with licensing and intellectual property
Should have a client-centric mentality; balancing theoretical and legal risks with what we are trying to achieve with our clients
Should have knowledge of Healthcare, HIPAA, HITECH
Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Will set yourself apart if you have a background in mergers and acquisitions
You will be:
Drafting and revising documents, reviewing redlines…you really need to enjoy drafting and reviewing contracts as this is the job
Communicating with internal and external customers, answering questions
Responsible for negotiating contracts with customers
What skills you need in order to be considered:
7 – 12 years at a law firm or in-house as a regulatory & compliance or corporate & transactional attorney
Demonstrates experience drafting transactional documents and contract management
Ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to adapt to constantly changing priorities in managing a wide variety of projects, while demonstrating initiative, accountability and leadership
Strategic and analytical thinking
Sound decision-making ability
