The Legal Counsel performs legal transactional work under the supervision of Director, Legal, Sales, Distribution, Operations +, and will be responsible for handling a wide variety of commercial agreements, specifically for Red Bull‘s Sales, Distribution and Operations departments.
PROVIDE ACCURATE AND RELEVANT LEGAL SUPPORT FOR COMMERCIAL TRANSACTIONS, INCLUDING DRAFTING AND NEGOTIATING VARIOUS AGREEMENTS, COMPLEX COMMERCIAL TRANSACTIONS, SALES AGREEMENTS, AND LEASE AGREEMENTS, AS WELL AS CREATING AND UPDATING TEMPLATES FOR DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS.
Advise various departments (primarily Sales, Distribution, and Operations) with respect to a full range of legal and business issues, with an emphasis on Real Estate matters.
Help the business grow and mature by counseling and educating non-lawyer colleagues on company strategy, workflows and best practices to encourage their development and compliance with legal clearance and requirements.
Oversee assorted department and company initiatives.
EXPERIENCE
that matter most for this role:

3-5 years of experience practicing corporate or transactional law, including at a corporate law firm (AmLaw 100).

Current member in good standing, or registered in-house counsel, with the California Bar

Exceptional legal drafting, negotiation and analytical skills. Substantial Real Estate experience.

Experience with drafting and negotiating sales/supplier agreements.

Experience with or subject matter knowledge of sales-related laws and regulations (e.g., antitrust and/or franchise laws).

Experience working with government agencies.

Experience with compliance counseling coupled with an ability to identify potential issues within a variety of compliance areas.

Project management skills.
