Job Description

This position will report to the Chief Legal Officer and support the legal department. The role provides a great opportunity for someone who has experience working in compliance and has an interest in joining a legal team at a global FinTech Company.

Key responsibilities include:

Legal

• Support the CLO to prepare for hearings, closings, trials, and corporate meetings,
• corporate governance experience domestic and international
• Attend to workflows and information requests from regulatory agencies, and law enforcement agencies
• Assist the CLO to inform the Company of regulatory changes to ensure the business continues compliance with relevant regulations
  
• First point of contact for marketing and advertising regulatory related questions and concerns from the internal marketing team
• Oversee marketing guidelines, copyrights, trademarks, and other forms of brand identity for the Company & Subsidiaries
• interface with sales and marketing departments for first line contract review and draft
• Policy and procedure review and drafting for legal reviews of partners
  
• Highly organized and a self starter

Professional Requirements

• D., or Certified Paralegal
• 4+ years of experience working on a corporate legal team
• Experience with domestic and foreign regulations as it relates to the financial industry for marketing and advertising purposes
• Familiar with copyright laws and regulations as it relates to logos, trademarks, and other forms of brand identity for the Company, and subsidiaries

Preferred Qualifications

• International business experience
• Experience in financial services
• Privacy international and domestic
