About This Opportunity:
This in-house position offers an opportunity to work with a wide range of legal matters. In this role, your core focus will be supporting and advising our business teams on matters impacting partnerships with some of the world’s best known brands. You will draft and negotiate complex contract terms related to technology, product distribution, marketing strategies, and much more. This in-house position also includes those corporate generalist responsibilities involved in advising business teams on a variety of complex legal issues. You will work with multiple internal and external groups simultaneously and will often collaborate with other in-house attorneys to support your business teams.

Responsibilities:
- Provide general legal support to various business units in a fast-paced technology-based business environment;

Draft and negotiate contracts relating to the stored value card industry including distribution, resale, ecommerce and vendor agreements;

Assist business units in resolving business and contractual disputes;

Understand business needs and goals, detect legal issues and obstacles, identify solutions and alternatives, and counsel and communicate with executives and managers regarding legal risks, solutions, and alternatives; and

Provide other legal support as required.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience as a practicing attorney in a corporate law department or law firm. Juris doctorate and bar membership required.

Experience in the stored value card industry and/or a technology or ecommerce field preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to provide counsel and guidance on complex legal questions or inquiries, and analyze legal issues in area of practice and provide effective advice to clients on routine legal matters.

Must have strong verbal and written communications skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills and attention to detail, and willing to assist team members as needed.

Must be willing to learn new skills, and be flexible and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, and be confident and capable of working with both technology and business contacts in a constantly evolving environment.
