We are looking for In-House Legal Counsel to join the Avolta staff here at our headquarters.

Responsibilities:

• Provide relevant and accurate advice on legal matters
• Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations that apply
• Take point on all legal matters as they arise
• Conduct research and analysis of all legal problems
• Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for Avolta Power
• Participate in all aspects of pre-litigation mediations, if cases are settled before appearing in court
• Engage in all aspects of litigation, including taking depositions and engaging in discovery, as needed.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, or contracts

Qualifications:

•  Must be licensed to practice law in Utah, South Carolina, North Carolina, or Texas, barred in 2 or more states - preferred.
•  J.D. required
•  Exceptional oral and written communication skills
•  Exceptional analytical skills
•  Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures
•  High degree of professional ethics and integrity
•  Corporate counsel preferred

Compensation: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 DOE
