We are looking for an Associate Director, General Counsel to join our innovative and rapidly growing firm. In this role, you will act as a strategic advisor for both internal corporate and external client executives as CloudPareto navigates complex regulatory domains supporting the Federal Government. This role will report directly to the CEO and will act as the primary legal liaison across all workstreams.
The role will be tasked with advising on all legal matters including contractual documents, licensing agreements, Requests for Proposals (buy-side and sell-side), professional services agreements, work orders, statements of work, and Non-Disclosure Agreements. Artifacts must meet the CloudPareto’s policy requirements including pertinent risk tolerance, negotiations, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and general litigation matters.
The role will also serve as the subject matter expert on advising government clients on topics including navigating compliance and regulatory issues, advising on the risk of major strategic initiatives, drafting and negotiating contracts with contractors and vendors, counseling clients on claims and disputes involving government contracts, and assisting clients with bid protests.
Successful candidates will be expected to collaborate with various business units within the company and in client organizations to maintain a successful risk posture. The team member will be a trusted business partner, responding in a timely and productive manner to projects/requests from customers while also driving buildout of the corporate legal program. The Product counsel and deliver training to internal customers regarding company policies, legal issues, training, enforcement, internal investigations, and risk tolerance.
