Probate/Guardianship Attorney - Greater Cleveland, OH
The Darren Findling Law Firm, PLC, is a growing, full-service probate firm with offices in Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, and Florida. The firm seeks an energetic and passionate attorney for their Ohio office located in Independence, Ohio. Applicants must possess strong entrepreneurial skills, think outside the box, and have the desire to grow the business into a well-known brand in Ohio. We are interested in candidates with experience in probate matters, including guardianships, minor settlements, deceased estates, trust administration, and related litigation. Additional consideration will be given to applicants with experience in special needs planning, Medicaid and VA planning. We welcome candidates with a book of business or who operate currently as a sole practitioner and will structure favorable compensation.
Responsibilities:
- Meeting with clients
- Drafting, filing, and serving pleadings
Manage your case load, prioritize various client matters and take the lead on files
- Managing clients’ expectations and returning all calls within 24 hours during the week
- Regular court appearances
Requirements:
- Ohio bar license
- Applicants should exhibit a strong work history, and no negative reviews on any public internet attorney directory
- Applicants should be self-motivated, pay close attention to detail, very organized, and have good communication skills
- Ability to follow-through
- Exceptional communication skills
- Adapts well to change and maintains a positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay focused on the most important and urgent issues
