Team Description
Our Legal, Policy, Trust & Privacy teams help keep users and their stuff safe, protect Dropbox, counsel Dropboxers on challenging problems, and are always synced with the Dropbox teams they work with. We deal with novel issues every day while standing up for users and helping the company and product grow.
Role Description
Are you passionate about the law and how businesses operate? Do you love a challenging, team-focused, dynamic environment? If yes, then this is the place for you! As a commercial legal analyst you’ll partner with teams of people across Dropbox (like marketing, finance, sales, brand, and engineering), and gain tons of practical experience in the intersection of law and business. Under the supervision of our attorneys, you will help us build our legal infrastructure, collaborate with business teams across Dropbox, and negotiate important global agreements with our customers, partners, and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- You’ll work with attorneys to draft, negotiate, and shepherd contracts
- You’ll engage with customers, partners and suppliers to keep Dropbox running smoothly
- You'll manage business relationships with internal clients
- You'll collaborate with different teams throughout legal to develop and champion projects that improve our processes
Requirements
- Extraordinary attention to the right details

- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Enthusiasm and passion for technology, law, and business
- Collaborative, team-first mindset
- Interest in law preferred, legal experience not required
- B.A./B.S. with excellent academic credentials (graduating within Spring 2021 to Spring 2022)
