This position is a generalist role and will involve managing and supporting programs across the range of legal areas supported by the Outside Counsel Management and Legal Operations teams. You must have flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, business and organizational needs. In addition, you must have the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment and work proactively with various teams across the organization, including IT, Operations Technology, HR and Finance.

Legal Operations Program Manager Responsibilities
  • Outside counsel management program support – help develop and advance team projects, driving on-time and on-budget results
  • Contribute to process design efforts to drive efficiency for Meta’s outside counsel programs
  • Support data analytics efforts related to legal spend
  • Negotiate alternative fee arrangements with outside counsel
  • Create dashboards, identify and monitor metrics for outside counsel spend and other programs
  • Support end-to-end project lifecycle including requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, testing, change management, ongoing support
  • Contribute to strategic planning and road mapping
  • Support diversity & inclusion initiatives with outside counsel and within our legal department
  • Support existing tools, processes, templates, playbooks, and knowledge management efforts throughout the department
Minimum Qualifications
  • B.A. or B.S. degree
  • 5+ years’ working in Project/Program management or similar experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in developing/implementing solutions or operational improvements
  • Experience with metric driven processes and technology improvements
  • Experience analyzing data sets and distilling recommendations
Preferred Qualifications
  • J.D. or MBA degree
  • Negotiation, finance and pricing experience
  • Legal Industry, Law Firm or In-house Legal Operations experience
  • Experience driving cross-functional programs from end-to-end
  • Experience supporting various ad-hoc projects
