Meta is seeking a talented and flexible attorney to join the Legal Department's Corporate team and advise the company on a range of corporate transactions and initiatives. You must have the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment and work proactively with various teams across the company, including Corporate Development, Integration, Finance and Human Resources. This is a full-time position.
 
Corporate Counsel Responsibilities
  • Lead domestic and international M&A transactions and strategic investments, including coordination of legal strategy, negotiation and due diligence
  • Partner with Corporate Development, Finance and Integration teams and manage cross-functional legal experts to execute transactions
  • Support major M&A transactions, investments and complex strategic initiatives
  • Coordinate and manage outside domestic and international corporate counsel
  • Support and manage internal corporate initiatives and policies
Minimum Qualifications
  • J.D. degree and membership in at least one U.S. state bar
  • 3+ years of experience as a practicing attorney (at a firm or in-house)
  • Corporate experience on M&A and investments
Preferred Qualifications
  • In-house experience
  • Cross-border and international experience
  • Organizational experience and strategic thinking, and experience advancing projects in a multi-stakeholder environment
  • Transactional experience with an emphasis on M&A, investments, joint ventures, complex strategic initiatives and other corporate transactions
Business judgment and client counseling experience
