About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager who will be an integral part of Uber's journey by completing operational assessments across Uber markets! The Program Manager role calls for strong problem-solving skills and curiosity. You need to be able to quickly understand Uber's Mobility businesses (Rideshare, Transit, Freight, Health, etc.) across Global markets, ask the right questions, spot operational gaps, and propose improvements.

The Global Compliance Team is responsible for implementing an assurance program at scale to identify key operational areas of risk while also leading efforts to mitigate risks at scale. If you love setting a vision and solving problems around the world from 30,000 feet as well as diving deep into the details, we have the opportunity you've been looking for!

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate operational processes utilized by markets across the globe against external and internal requirements
  • Identify and develop new ways to scale analyses at a global level to improve the team's ability to provide value more effectively
  • Identify common business needs across regions to provide guidance on global tool/product development
  • Present findings and insights to senior management to drive business decisions
  • Collaborate with other city and central operations teams, legal, insurance, tax, and safety to ensure that insights inform broader strategic initiatives

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant technical experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in Strategy, Investment Banking, Finance, Consulting, Operations, or Compliance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred 6 years of work experience in Strategy, Investment Banking, Finance, Consulting, Operations, Compliance or Audit
  • Analytical Rigor: Excellent Excel skill and SQL proficiency
  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively works to influence senior and cross functional stakeholders
  • Self-motivated: Works independently and possess strong organization and time management skills
  • Project Management: Keeps track of concurrent projects, making sure they're executed on time while delivering on key objectives and results
  • Strategic Insight: Able to identify trends and problems from data to inform how we better analyze risk for the business at a global scale
