This role will partner with teams across Snowflake to build, enhance, and run a wide range of processes to support the Snowflake product teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with Product Management and Engineering teams to provide counseling and guidance on new and existing features, services, and products.
- Consult and advise on product plans and launches, including working with the business requestor to understand the proposed activities, evaluate them, and make recommendations to senior management.
- Create and support continuous improvements of forms, policies, and processes to streamline, simplify, and automate support of the Product Management and Engineering teams.
- Structure, negotiate, and close complex service provider and technology partner agreements.
- Work cross-functionally within the legal team and the broader organization, including privacy, compliance, security and compliance, intellectual property, and sales and sales operations.
- Provide sound, practical advice and guidance on legal and business-related issues to senior business leaders.
REQUIREMENTS:
- JD from an accredited law school, membership in at least one state bar, and ability to practice in California
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience preferred
- Technical savvy with ability to quickly learn and operate new systems
- Ability to explain complicated concepts in simple terms
- Attitude that no project is too big or too small
- Comfort working in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Sense of humor!
