Team Description

Our Legal, Policy, Trust & Privacy teams help keep users and their stuff safe, protect Dropbox, counsel Dropboxers on challenging problems, and are always synced with the Dropbox teams they work with. We deal with novel issues every day while standing up for users and helping the company and product grow.

As an analyst on the Law Enforcement Response Team, you’ll be responsible for responding to a wide variety of legal requests that touch on many aspects of the law. Responsibilities

  • Work closely with other members of the legal team to scrutinize and respond to law enforcement data requests while upholding Dropbox’s strong commitment to user privacy and Government Request Principles
  • Help update and publish our biannual Transparency Report
  • Stay current on policy issues and developments of importance in responding to law enforcement and governmental takedown requests
  • Partner with our Customer Support team on sensitive legal requests from our users
  • Build and scale processes to help the Law Enforcement Response Team and the Legal Team as a whole

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills
  • Great interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
  • Experience or familiarity with data analysis.

Dropbox is an equal opportunity employer. We are a welcoming place for everyone, and we do our best to make sure all people feel supported and connected at work. A big part of that effort is our support for members and allies of internal groups like Asians at Dropbox, BlackDropboxers, Latinx, Pridebox (LGBTQ), Vets at Dropbox, Women at Dropbox, ATX Diversity (based in Austin, Texas) and the Dropbox Empowerment Network (based in Dublin, Ireland).
