Employment Counsel [4 month part time contract]

Legal.io is working with an award-winning SaaS platform company seeking a part time employment counsel for a 4 month contract (leave coverage).
What You’ll Do:
- Looking for someone who can support 20h / week on employment (80%) and corporate (20%)
- Secondee needs to be experienced with employment issues. We’ve gone through restructuring so some litigation around wrongful termination is possible.
- Exposure to international employment law is a plus.
- Being able to assist on corporate matters would be a plus.
- Provide direction and advice to, and drafts and coordinates labor and employment law-related documents for the company, including separation agreements and employment agreements.
- Responds to inquiries/requests by department and outside counsel.
Who you are:
- An experienced employment attorney with 5+ years of experience
- A specialist in CA employment law
- Active and in good standing with the state bar association

- Location: Remote (company is based in San Mateo, CA)
- 4 month contract, part time (20 hours per week)
