Job Description

Summary:

Legal Assistant position will help support the legal department and attorneys.  The position will primarily focus on investigating consumer complaints submitted through an attorney or government agency and responsibilities will involve communicating with the consumers and drafting appropriate responses to the complaints.  The Legal Assistant will assist in document and information gathering for various legal department needs, including subpoenas, subrogation claims, and lawsuits. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Investigate consumer complaints, draft professional and thorough responses, communicate with escalated customers

 

Required Skills:

  • Ability to review and investigate accounts using Salesforce and other Vivint systems
  • Ability to draft clear responses
  • Understanding Vivint business and sales practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

 

Required Education/Experience:

  • Vivint Customer Care experience preferred
  • Experience drafting professional correspondence and/or persuasive arguments
  • Experience in handling sensitive situations and speaking with escalated customers

 

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
