Do you love taking on big challenges without precedent? As a part of our Financial Services Compliance group, you will help uphold Apple’s high ethical and corporate standards, as well as enable us to grow our products and services. You will help the team in identifying and investigating potential bias in our model outcomes in support of all legal and regulatory fair lending laws and requirements.
 
The ideal candidate works well in collaborative environments with minimal formal structure and is comfortable in changing environments with competing priorities. They must possess solid business acumen, natural curiosity, and the ability to effectively shift between communications styles based on the audience.
 
Key Qualifications

  • Previous experience in compliance/internal audit with a financial institution or payment-focused company
  • SQL and analytical skills including Tableau and experience interpreting statistical analysis and presenting results concisely to non-technical audience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to connect and develop strong partnerships
  • Strong verbal / written communication skills
  • Creativity to go beyond current tools to deliver the best solution to a given problem
  • Inquisitiveness and a desire for continued self-improvement and development of new skills
 
Description

  • Ongoing monitoring of statistical and other types of data analysis results related to fair lending compliance program
  • Support fair lending program by participating in risk assessments, complaint reviews, investigations and ad-hoc fair lending reviews
  • Assist in the aggregation and review of Committee materials to ensure appropriate evaluation of program effectiveness
  • Maintain current knowledge of federal and state laws and fair lending regulations
  • Working cross-functionally with other teams and managing workflow across competing priorities
 
Education & Experience

BA / BS degree or equivalent experience.
