JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary

This role will report to the Sr. Director, Compliance Operations and will be instrumental in ensuring that Amneal is adhering to the highest compliance and legal standards.  The person in this role will support the compliance team with state and federal reporting requirements, the compliance team's overall operational objectives, as well as provide data analytics around various compliance initiatives. 

Essential Functions

  • State and Federal Transparency Reporting
    • Manage all aspects of the compliance department reporting requirements relating to the Federal Physician Payments Sunshine Act, and state and municipal transparency laws. 
      • Interface with Amneal colleagues in other departments a appropriate, as well as with external customers, third party/external vendors, to collect, review, analyze and report data associated with the various federal, state and municipal laws and regulations.
      • Lead in the accuracy and completeness of aggregate spend reporting.
      • Maintain data integrity and quality by reviewing, critically analyzing, and remediating data.
      • Navigate multiple systems, applications, and utilize internal search platforms to obtain information when remediating aggregate spend data.
  • Work closely with the compliance and legal teams to develop and maintain an aggregate spend assumptions and interpretations document, and remain current with aggregate spend related laws and regulations, for timely implementation of updates to this document
      • Coordinate with IT and vendor to develop new system enhancements for state law, federal law, and/or internal reports
  • Create and validate record-keeping processes.
  • Work with compliance team members responsible for monitoring, auditing, and investigations to ensure that any allegation or identified violation of company policy related to aggregate spend is properly investigated, remediation taken, and monitor controls established to prevent future instances.
  • Develop, manage and oversee implementation of policies, procedures and processes related to aggregate spend and state reporting.
  • Develop and implement effective training and communication initiatives related to aggregate spend and state reporting for senior management, employees, customers and third party vendors.
  • Data Analytics and Reporting
      • Provide a broad range of in-depth analytical support to the compliance team.
      • Fair Market Value (FMV), healthcare professional engagements, grants and donations, sponsorships, and displays and exhibits and transparency reporting.
      • Identify and analyze trends; produce statistical reports to support the development of discussions and presentations with compliance team management.
      • Assist in the development of both internal and external compliance presentations and reports as needed.
  • Collaborate with other members of the compliance team and/or other departments, both proactively and on an as-needed basis, for project-based activities pertaining to various elements of the Company’s ethics and compliance program to ensure corporate alignment.

Education

  • Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) - Required

Work Experience

  • 4 years or more of relevant pharmaceutical or healthcare experience - Required
  • 4 years or more experience in ethics and compliance programs. - Required

Specialized Knowledge

  • Familiar with the 7 elements of an effective compliance program.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to pharmaceutical industry, including OIG regulatory guidance, PhRMA, and FDA regulations also preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel , PowerPoint and knowledge of business analytics and reporting.
  • Salesforce and Veeva CRM experience desired.
  • Concur application experience desired.
