We are looking for a very organized and detail-oriented teammate to join as a Program Manager on Litigation, Employment, and Workplace Investigations team. This role is right for someone who is excited to work across an array of projects and tasks, from helping address complex legal issues to organizing meetings. This role will report to the Assistant General Counsel, Employment and Workplace Investigations. The role is ultimately a generalist role focused on project management.
Responsibilities
Directly provide day-to-day management and strategic oversight to our Employment and Litigation programs, optimizing our efforts with repeatable, efficient, and scalable programmatic solutions
Develop and implement program/project plans, which can include goal setting, use case development, partner engagement, roles and responsibilities (RACI), risks, milestones, and resource tracking
Develop relationships with and partner closely with teams across the business (and across the globe) to identify initiatives the Employment and Litigation teams will prioritize
Learn and administer our applications and processes, including our Legal Helpdesk (internal legal request intake and triage)
Support the Workplace Investigations function, scheduling, note taking, and maintaining files
Develop and maintain processes to monitor team goals, measure progress, and track completion; Plan and schedule project timelines and achievements, and ensure all projects are delivered on-time
Provide administrative support, coordinating cross-functional teams for Legal-led strategic projects, including setting up, developing the agenda for, scheduling, and running project team meetings
Mediate disputes between internal departments and solve critical issues in a time-sensitive environment
Conduct retrospectives that assess and document findings, analysis, and feedback from the project team
Prioritize conflicting demands; handle matters expeditiously and proactively; and follow through on projects to successful completion
Learn new subject areas quickly to understand the context of assigned tasks
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Minimum 4 years relevant working experience
Ability to learn complex concepts and systems quickly
Excellent written/verbal communication skills, especially through virtual mediums
Exceptional attention to detail
Eager to tackle problems and take on responsibility
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest levels of integrity, ethical standards, discretion, and sound judgment
Excellent understanding of G-Suite, as well as productivity and collaboration apps like Slack, Jira, and Confluence, and generally comfortable with technology
A practical understanding of spreadsheet (Gsheet or Excel) functions including pivot tables and vlookup
Team oriented approach to communication and problem-solving
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-activity environment, and able to handle ambiguity, juggle many matters at once, and quickly shift from one situation or task to another
Bonus Points
Project Management Professional (PMP) /Agile certification
Previous work for a law firm or in-house law department
Program management experience with people- or legal-related programs
The salary range for this position is $87,800 - 129,000. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
