ADT Security Services requires a Professional Licensing Compliance Administrator on a full-time basis to support compliance by the Company with U.S. federal, state and local professional licensing laws, rules and regulations. The successful candidate will report to ADT’s Assistant General Counsel. There is strong preference for the position to be based in Boca Raton, FL, although there may be some flexibility to work remotely, for the right candidate. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

 

Responsibilities

  • The position is responsible for providing professional licensing support to The ADT Security Corporation and its subsidiaries and ensuring that all required professional licenses are obtained and kept in good standing.
  • Daily communication with licensing agencies regarding any licensing compliance issues.
  • Ensure proper and timely completion of all licensing requirements for all facilities, including the preparation and filing of license applications and renewals.
  • Respond to questions from company personnel regarding licensing requirements.
  • Participation in the design, implementation, maintenance and constant improvement of processes, controls and systems applicable to licensing compliance.
  • Assist in monitoring compliance with Company-wide policies and initiatives.
  • Assist in drafting policies and procedures regarding licensing compliance issues.
  • Maintain files of all documentation associated with licensing.

 

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree, Certification in Paralegal Studies or similar educational background
  • At least 5 years’ work experience, preferably in a professional licensing capacity, paralegal or law department support role. Experience with commercial licensing is an asset.
  • Unwavering integrity.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Organized and action-oriented individual that is able to deal with ambiguity.
  • Ability to utilize computer technology, including Excel, Word and Access.
  • Excellent writing and verbal skills.
