Legal.io is working with a prominent fintech company seeking a fully remote flex Corporate Counsel on a contractual basis to support their existing Legal teams and business divisions. This is a part-time/flex role (~20hrs/wk) with an initial term of 3 months.

What You’ll Do:

Provide support to Treasury, Finance, and Tax departments on corporate finance and banking matters, intercompany agreements, internal and external audits, corporate governance, and general corporate matters.

Assist with transactional work, including corporate reorganizations, credit facilities, and other corporate financings.

Assist with Board prep and meetings.

General Corporate work as needed across the greater Legal team.

Required Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school

Active admission to any State bar.

5+ years of directly related legal experience

Experience as a corporate attorney, including experience in securities and transactional matters.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience representing companies in the financial and/or technology sectors

In-house experience in addition to strong law firm experience

Role Details:

Location: Fully Remote

Targeted Hourly Rate: $115-$145/hour (annualized at $230k-$290k)

20-25 hours/week
