Role Summary:

The PBM Medicaid Compliance Lead Analyst is primarily responsible for advising on and evaluating compliance with all regulatory requirements relative to the PBM’s support of its Medicaid clients. This position will also be engaged in various compliance efforts, acting as a subject matter expert (SME) to support business partners and will need to work with a high degree of independence.  

The PBM Medicaid Compliance Lead Analyst must be highly organized with keen eye for detail with experience in issue management and process improvement.  They must be able to understand business processes and work cross functionally with business owners and Legal. In general, the position is responsible for: (i) monitoring and facilitating closure of compliance issues impacting Medicaid programs, (ii) working with team members and Medicaid business partners to update compliance policies, (iii) working with Medicaid business partners to track and validate Corrective Action Plans, (iv) supporting internal and external audits related to Medicaid requirements, and (v) monitoring compliance with Medicaid requirements.

 Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Medicaid rules and regulations;
  • Support internal and external audits related to Medicaid requirements;
  • Conduct Medicaid compliance monitoring;
  • Coordinate and facilitate creation of Corrective Action Plans;
  • Review and recommend modifications to Medicaid Policies and Procedures;
  • Serve on cross-functional committees as a Medicaid SME;
  • Monitor and assist business partners in issue management and resolution; and
  • Maintain good working relationships with internal partners to ensure open lines of communication and timely responses to compliance questions.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years overall experience with healthcare regulatory and compliance matters;
  • 2 + years of Medicaid experience;
  • 2+ years PBM experience preferred;
  • Strong knowledge of Medicaid regulations preferred;
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills required;
  • Strong problem solving skills required;
  • Strong and confident oral and written communication skills required;
  • Proven ability to develop strong working relationships and establish a high level of credibility required;
  • Ability to work within a remote team and build relationships with key partners and stakeholders required;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others (and when appropriate influence colleagues in their decision making process) required;
  • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities required.
  • Hybrid role- This role will require someone to be in the office a few days a week, fleixabilty to work some days at home.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 68,500 - 114,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
