Job Description
SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as the Associate General Counsel, Commercial.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a trusted legal advisor and business partner to teams across the global organization;
- Oversee all aspects of commercial contracting across the organization, including partnering with business teams on terms and risk profile, as well as drafting, reviewing, advising, negotiating and enforcing.
- Determine where and how the contracting process can be improved for efficiency and business benefit, including streamlining the end-to-end contracting process, developing templates, providing training, working to meet the needs of each team.
- Support various operational and corporate legal matters, including privacy, security, competition, corporate governance, compliance, international expansion, employment, product liability, and special projects.
- Additionally support the business and legal team in all cross functional areas, providing a true generalist experience, including litigation management assistance.
- Example projects include monitoring and updating iFIT Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, partnering with stakeholders on the implementation and ongoing compliance of Uniform Pricing Policy, developing global templates for purchase of product and manufacture of hardware worldwide, reviewing and improving product warranty terms, supporting M&A initiatives, advisory role in global expansion.

- Thrives working independently with strong work ethic and ability to multitask, prioritize and follow-through on numerous projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment;
- Is a true team player willing to jump in to support a colleagues on any matter, big or small, and even outside your area of expertise;
- Enjoys both high-level and in the weeds, simultaneously providing thought leadership on strategic matters as well as executing on tactical operational details;
- Is excited to continually improve processes and drive operational excellence within an environment that is fast-paced, complex, and fluid;
- Is an excellent communicator and clear thinker who excels at providing succinct, practical, commercially driven legal advice and the highest level of legal work-product;
- Quickly grasps business objectives and applies them to legal strategies in a way that is pragmatic, flexible, and creative;
- Ability to travel as needed (travel to corporate headquarters in Logan, UT will be required).
- Admission to at least one state bar;
- In-house Legal experience a plus;
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school;
- A minimum of 7-10 years of legal experience; with experience in commercial transactions in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, including substantial exposure with supply, manufacturing and operations in an international company.
