Litigation Paralegal in Los Angeles, California

LHH is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Litigation Paralegal. You will be supporting attorneys in all aspects of litigation. From case preparation to trial assistance, your expertise will contribute to the success of our clients' legal matters.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in drafting and filing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analyze case law, statutes, and regulations.
  • Prepare and organize trial exhibits, trial binders, and other materials.
  • Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and other case-related appointments.
  • Manage document production, including organizing, indexing, and maintaining case files.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Facilitate the electronic filing (e-filing) of documents with courts and administrative bodies.
  • Assist with document review and discovery processes.
  • Support attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as answering calls, scheduling meetings, and maintaining calendars.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification from an accredited institution.
  • The candidate should have a lot of experience with discovery, subpoenas, trial subpoenas, notices to consumer, etc
  • Proven experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm setting.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and court rules.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with e-filing systems and court procedures.
  • Discretion and ability to handle confidential information.

 

Pay Details: $35.00 to $38.00 PER HOUR
