General Summary

The Commercial Transactions Paralegal will provide legal support on a broad spectrum of contract matters focusing mainly on information technology and global procurement arrangements.  This paralegal will also support various Campbell business divisions and functions on day-to-day commercial matters.  The ideal candidate will be a commercially minded, pragmatic individual that can work effectively with numerous business clients in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment.

The Commercial Transactions Paralegal position is based in Campbell’s World Headquarters in Camden, New Jersey, with the opportunity to work remotely two days a week. The Commercial Transactions Paralegal will report to Campbell’s Corporate Transactions Counsel.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Campbell’s transactional attorneys to review, draft, negotiate and manage various commercial agreements with an emphasis on information technology and global procurement agreements.
  • Assist Campbell’s transactional attorneys in advising business teams on various commercial matters.
  • Coordinate the intake and processing of nondisclosure agreements across all business teams.
  • Conduct regular compliance training related to Campbell’s contracting processes and procedures.
  • Support organization-wide legal projects and initiatives.
  • Provide assistance on additional matters as needed and directed by management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Paralegal Certificate a plus).
  • At least five years of experience in a law firm and/ or in-house.  
  • Demonstrated team player with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively and efficiently with business partners and to operate with limited daily supervision.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite required. Experience with iManage preferred.
  • Experience reviewing, redlining and negotiating information technology agreements (MSAs, SOWs and amendments) and procurement agreements strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between 

$72,900-$117,300

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
