Corporate Counsel Real Estate - Portfolio

Summary of Position: Experienced Real Estate Attorney to join Dollar Tree’s Legal Real Estate team supporting all aspects of Dollar Tree and Family Dollar real estate and construction, with an emphasis on the existing portfolio of stores.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Negotiate a high volume of lease amendments, retail leases and related documents.
• Provide ongoing legal support for Dollar Tree and Family Dollar portfolio of stores, including legal support for Dollar Tree’s in-house portfolio management team, lease administration, lease accounting, and facilities management.
• Provide legal support for real estate related disputes and litigation.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
• JD from accredited law school required.
• Member of, or eligible to become a member of the Virginia State Bar.
• At least 6 years’ experience as a practicing real estate attorney, including real estate leasing experience (in-house or outside counsel). Retail real estate experience a plus.
• Experience dealing with high volume transactions and leases.
