Position Summary:

Come join Royal Caribbean’s Legal Operations Group.  The Legal Operations Analyst will help facilitate business process improvement, analysis, review, and documentation of functional business specifications. This position manages communications of requirement development and processes. It also provides the end-user support, analysis, specification, and verification of multiple levels of requirements from an end-to-end perspective and supports the ongoing management of the requirements. The Analyst will also coordinate and manage the implementation support and/or support integration of products or new features for users including end-user training.  This position will join the team of legal operations analysts and support for contracts and eBilling and law firm portfolio management.

**This position is located in Miami, Florida and does require selected candidate to work on site. **

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Be part of the Legal Operations Team to:

  • Support end-users in the contracts system implementation and ongoing support after the project close.  Liaison between end users, IT, Legal, Supply Chain, implementation partners and business objectives. 
  • Develop test plans and scenarios and communicate results.
  • Coordinate functional and user acceptance testing and tracking test performance.
  • Perform data analysis to support evaluation of system defects or to develop requirements for new functionality; triage and troubleshoot complex user-reported system defects; assist in various system trouble shooting and balancing and correction efforts including analysis, verification and validation of issues and fixes.
  • Conduct impact analysis of technology changes on business processes and existing technology.
  • Facilitate collaborative system and data design sessions with the user community, technical architecture resources and development resources.
  • Support the internal technical team who will provide data migration of contracts.
  • Assist in systems and business process support across multiple client engagements.
  • Coordinate activities or communications including testing and production moves.
  • Work as a technical support and liaison to designated IT or Supply chain personnel to provide testing, support and feedback on enhancement requests and regular updates/releases; adhere to release schedules.
  • Provide analytical support for critical corporate initiatives including business function support for system migrations and consolidations, significant business area process improvement projects.
  • Practice knowledge transfer and foster change management as the organization changes and new skills are required, focusing on team/individual development to be a valued contributor.
  • Manages special projects and process improvement, including applying change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality.
  • Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix documents process and results.
  • Ticketing system usage including maintaining support request tickets for contracts and financial support. Helps to identify analyzing ticket data of insights of requests and support. 
  • Conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Train team on new processes/functionality. Train new system users.
  • Support and develop PowerBI ad-hoc reporting.  Analyze data (SQL) query to pull information and troubleshoot issues.

 

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in an analytical or business discipline from an accredited four year college or university and two to four years related experience and/or training required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred Legal Operations or IT experience. This would include system support or administration for Legal Systems such as Ebilling, matter management and Contracts.
  • System implementation experience is preferred as the subject matter expert, project manager or IT.
  • Must be a self-starter and work in a team environment.
  • Excellent skills in the following areas: Follow-up, organization, analytical, flexibility, and internal processes.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal).
  • Team player with the desire and capability to step in as needed to ensure the achievement of the department goals.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Must possess the ability to navigate within a corporate environment and build successful business relationships in a team environment.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior management.
