About the Opportunity

This position will be employed by Kilroy Realty, L.P. and will be a key member of the Company’s in-house Legal Department. This position will directly report to the Senior Vice President – Corporate Counsel and will work closely with the entire Legal Department, as well as with multiple other departments within the Company in connection with the administration of the Company’s legal invoice and billing platform, Legal Tracker.

 

Opportunity Requirements

  • Associate degree.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, professional and dependable.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of management, staff and external service providers.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion.
  • Self-motivated, able to take initiative and work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize effectively and handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience with Legal Tracker and/or Yardi is a major plus.
  • Skilled in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat) and willingness to learn other applications.
  • Notary public or willingness to obtain the necessary training to become a notary public.

 

Summary of Responsibilities  

An essential function of this position is regular and predictable attendance. The core responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage the administration of Legal Tracker company-wide, working closely with Asset Management, Construction and Accounting to ensure all third-party legal services are billed and processed accurately.
  • Interact with Company’s law firm service providers regarding billing, invoices, and legal matter management.
  • Process and distribute Legal Department mail.
  • Work on special projects and assignments as requested.
  • Renew business licenses and other permits.
  • Process corporate invoices.
  • Provide administrative support to the Legal Department.

Other duties as assigned.

At Kilroy, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within the role. The base pay range for this role is between $60,000 to $109,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, experience and training, knowledge, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.  It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  This role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus as well.
