Paralegal

A financial services firm in New York City is looking to add a new Paralegal to their growing Legal Ops team.

Responsibilities

The Paralegal will be responsible for assisting the Legal Ops team with entity management and corporate transparency act projects, including:

• Distributions to counsel and portfolio companies
• Assisting with process and adapting procedure as required
• Reviewing fund structure and data
• Reviewing and validating entity formation, operations, structure and other documentation from the Outside Counsel
• Assisting with ongoing work

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience as a Corporate Paralegal or similar role
• Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
• Investment Management Fund formation and structure experience
• Microsoft office Suite proficient (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Solid problem solving and time management skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
