Interim Contracts Counsel

Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent Group has an immediate need for an Interim Contracts Counsel specializing in Phase III Clinical Trial and Site Agreements.

Overview : Our Client has asked that we recruit an Interim Contracts Counsel in preparation of a Phase III Registrational Study.

Company: Our Client is an international, clinical stage oncology organization.

Experience: Eight to ten years’ experience advising life sciences clients (ideally oncology focused) on clinical trial and site agreements.

Location: The Client’s US operations are in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The Client seeks East Coast based candidates looking to work fully remotely. Local candidates are welcome to work in the Client’s Cambridge offices if they prefer.

Responsibilities Include:

• Review, draft, and negotiate Phase III clinical trial agreements with hospitals and large academic centers/ universities.
• Review, negotiate, and draft site agreements associated with Phase III study for 100 to 150 sites located throughout the world.
• Utilize the Client’s contract management system to file agreements/ follow workflow.

Qualifications Include:

• Eight to ten years’ experience advising life sciences clients on Phase III clinical trial and site agreements.
• Experience with international site agreements.
• Admission to at least one state bar active and in good standing.
• Comfortable advising various internal clients (i.e., sales and business development) on contractual issues.
• Excellent attention to detail in oral and written communication.
