Temporary Corporate Securities Contract Attorney - Remote

Our client, a top gaming company with an international reach, is seeking a temporary contract attorney with experience in corporate securities law. Details below. 100% remote Approx 20 hours per week Approx 3 months Comp - 110-130+ DOE

Job Responsibilities:

• Legal entity/subsidiary management support, including for entities outside the US
• Support for our Treasury team on banking, investments, securities work
• Support for our Tax team on corporate structure/reorganization activities
• SEC filings including Section 16 reporting, support for 10-K and proxy filings, preparation for compliance with new SEC rulemaking
• Support for our Corporate Development team on M&A matters, including negotiating NDAs

Required Skills:

• JD degree with 5 or more years of corporate experience with a law firm/in-house, preferably with a significant portion of that experience with SEC compliance for public companies.
• Ability to work with cross-functional business and legal teams.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to establish strong working relationships with business partners.
• Ability to handle a high volume of work with minimal supervision with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload efficiently and effectively.
