FERC Counsel

Konexo US is seeking a US-based FERC counsel with several years’ law firm experience to support our firm’s energy practice group. This opportunity is an independent contractor role for project-based work and is ideal for individuals who are freelancing or looking for limited duration opportunities.

• Start date: As soon as possible
• Work pattern: 15-20 hours per week to start, potential to increase to 30+ hours later in September
• Contract duration: Through the end of 2023
• Location: Remote

What you should have:

• 5+ years’ law firm experience with FERC litigation matters, including research, drafting pleadings, and managing discovery of matters involving electric power
• Excellent research skills
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar
