Key Responsibilities

Loan Closing & Documentation: Oversee and facilitate all aspects of the loan closing process, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Review, negotiate, and approve loan documents, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Collaborative Coordination: Work in close association with the Servicing, Insurance, and Portfolio Analytics teams. Liaise with outside counsel and relevant third-party professionals, ensuring all legal and business requirements are met.

Problem-solving: Tackle any issues related to loans within the client portfolios. Cooperate with relevant teams and outside counsel to resolve matters effectively.

Training and Development: Contribute to knowledge sharing sessions within the organization, covering aspects such as the loan closing process, third-party report requirements, and bankruptcy matters.

Qualifications and Experience

Required: · Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Real Estate or Finance. · Juris Doctor from an American Bar Association accredited law school. · 5+ years of experience as an Attorney in the Commercial Real Estate Lending field, with direct experience in closing new Commercial Real Estate Debt Transactions.

Preferred: · Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate complex interactions smoothly. · Superior organizational and time management skills. · A creative thinker open to new processes and procedures. · Notary Public certification is a plus.
