Role Summary

The Manager, Fair Employment Practices will ensure that applicants and employees are given equal opportunity in employment. This position reports to the Director, Global Fair Employment Practices and works in conjunction with the legal department, human resources, and other functions to ensure that Rivian is properly monitoring compliance with federal and state regulations related to equal employment opportunity and affirmative action compliance.


Responsibilities

  • Gathers, compiles, analyzes, and interprets data necessary for external (government) and internal EEO compliance, reporting, and monitoring.
  • Manage the company's Affirmative Action Program (AAP) and activities related to maintaining compliance with federal and state regulatory agencies.
  • Identify and address areas of existing and emerging risks and partner with internal stakeholders to develop action plans as they relate to AAPs and other program remediation efforts.
  • Conduct workforce data statistical analyses to assess and monitor equal opportunity and affirmative action plan compliance.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and audits to ensure company compliance.
  • Prepare and interpret statistical insights for business leaders.
  • Develop and foster relationships with internal/external stakeholders to drive growth of the company.
  • Research and recommend diversity outreach strategies related to EEO/AA compliance.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Experience working with large data sets in Excel required.
  • Experience gathering and analyzing employment transaction data.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the preparation and implementation of Affirmative Action and/or Equal Employment Opportunity programs.
  • In depth knowledge of EEO/AA laws and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven presentation skills to facilitate meetings and presentations and/or training.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Organizational, interpersonal, communications, problem solving, and project management skills are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • 100% Remote Position (Preferred DC Metro Area Location but not mandatory)
  • Occasional Travel as required
