Pharmaceutical Counsel

In-House Pharma/Promotional and Medical Review/Central NJ: Growing, global pharma company seeks a lawyer with 10 years of experience, including 2+ years of recent and relevant experience dealing with advertising, promotion, and the commercialization of pharmaceutical products at a company or law firm. This candidate will be the lead lawyer responsible for reviewing and advising on promotional materials, programs, and activities for compliance with applicable federal and state requirements, and also for advising on the communication of scientific and medical information regarding pharmaceutical products. Additional responsibilities may include reviewing and counseling on corporate communications, both internal and external (press releases, bulletins, and corporate communications, including on social media channels), providing substantive legal advice and guidance on a wide range of pharmaceutical industry topics, and negotiating and drafting contracts. This lawyer will have extensive contact with the company’s executives, sales and marketing, and the other lawyers in the department. The company offers a 50% hybrid work schedule.
