**Responsibilities
** Your key responsibilities will include:
Ensuring legal compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Identifying, assessing, and mitigating legal risks tied to our operations
Overseeing contract negotiation, drafting, and review
Upholding corporate governance according to legal and regulatory standards
Managing legal disputes and litigation matters
Safeguarding our intellectual property assets
Developing and implementing ethics and compliance programs
Collaborating with cross-functional teams on compliance matters
Providing expert legal advice and guidance
Managing the legal team and external counsel
The Ideal Candidate
**Our Ideal Candidate Possesses The Following Qualifications
** Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction, or admitted to practice in Utah
15+ years of legal experience, ideally as General Counsel in a similar consumer goods organization
Experience advising top-level leadership and Board members
Proven ability to build strong relationships across departments
Preferably, experience in managing legal teams
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and business acumen
Ability to balance business needs with legal considerations
**Requirements
** Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction, or admitted to practice in Utah
15+ years of legal experience, including serving as General Counsel for sizable consumer goods corporations
