HCE is building Honeywell Forge (https://www.honeywellforge.ai) an enterprise performance management solution for digital transformation of operations that includes a mix of SaaS and software products and enabling services that help companies use operational data to drive insights that improve processes, enhance productivity, support sustainability initiatives, and empower workers. Our customers are global and range across the Aerospace, Buildings, Cybersecurity, Industrial, Life Sciences, Worker and Supply Chain industries.

In this role, you will serve as General Counsel – Product & Technology for HCE based in Atlanta, Georgia. You will be the trusted adviser to senior leadership on a range of product and technology related issues including owning the legal elements of the software release management process, advising on the development and launch of Honeywell Forge and our SaaS enterprise software offerings and advising on a wide range of related topics such as data governance, privacy, security, SaaS, artificial intelligence, IOT, policy advocacy, industry standards, licensing and advertising.

**Core Job Duties
**

• Be a key member of the global leadership team for, and primary legal advisor to, Honeywell Forge.
• Enable all new product launches for Honeywell Forge including the go to market business and contracting models, product releases, marketing and press releases and customer communications.
• Own all legal and compliance aspects of the software release management process across HCE to ensure we are compliant and enable our customers to meet their compliance obligations including by defining the overall process, translating legal requirements into product requirements (e.g. for data, privacy, security, accessibility etc.), overseeing quality assurance, training and metrics and putting in place core product processes, automation and digitization (including overseeing selection and implementation of tools and deploying KPIs / metrics).
• Enable customer trust in Honeywell Forge and our SaaS offerings via robust and transparent data governance, privacy, security and compliance processes, standards and certifications and creation of customer facing materials.
• Partner with Government Relations on policy advocacy and implementation requirements relating to new law and regulations that impact data access, use, transfer and localization, AI, privacy and cybersecurity.
• Execute complex global transactions, technology partnerships and in-bound sourcing transactions including deal structuring, drafting and negotiation across a range of areas including software, SaaS, PaaS, APIs, data analytics and related integration and support services and strategic partnerships, JVs and M&A.
• Project managing key business transformation initiatives and enabling crisis management response.YOU MUST HAVE:
• Registered to practice as a lawyer in a major legal jurisdiction.
• 15+ years of legal experience at a leading law-firm and/or technology company.
• Extensive product and commercial experience in enterprise on-premises software and SaaS.
• Hands on experience building robust functional processes and managing legal operations.
