Transactional Attorney

Staffing Solutions, LLC. is partnering with a powerful law firm in Southern California. This firm focuses their work on the field of plaintiff employment class action litigation. This firm is seeking a highly qualified Transactional Attorney to add to their expanding team. You will be working with the firm’s client base, leading the firm's efforts in negotiating, drafting, reviewing, and revising complex settlement agreements in class action issues, with the result being court approval for settlement terms and conditions contained within those agreements. You will work closely with class action administrators ensuring that the final settlements are correctly administered and distributed.

Responsibilities:

Negotiating, drafting, reviewing, and revising contracts, including class action settlement agreements

Negotiating, drafting, reviewing, and revising class action notices, clam forms and other related documents

Negotiating, drafting, reviewing, and revising motions for approval of class action settlements

Audit class action administrator to ensure they are carrying out their responsibilities in accordance with the Court’s instructions.

Position Requirements:

Licensed to practice law anywhere AND in California, if not yet licensed in California, the candidate will be expected to have pending admission to the California Bar while working with the firm.

Candidates are willing to travel occasionally.

This is a hybrid workplace position. Occasionally, you will be required to travel to work with the firm's satellite office in Salem, as well as travel to California.
