Intellectual Property Attorney

Title: Patent Attorney (Entrepreneurial-Minded w/ a Portable Book of Business) Location: United States (Remote) Salary: $150k-$275k+

Haraka Headhunters LLC is a legal search firm specializing in corporate attorney placements. We are currently working with a top-tier boutique law firm who is experiencing exponential growth and is looking to add a few more patent attorneys to their team.

What We Are Looking For...

• At least 5+ years of patent preparation and prosecution experience (litigation experience is a plus)
• Registered and in good standing with the USPTO
• Electrical engineering background (computer engineering, computer science or chemistry background is okay)
• Must have a portable book of business
• Must be able to leverage book of business upon hire
• Interested in business development
• We prefer someone who lives within a commutable distance from NYC, however, for the right candidates, this position can be 100% remote.

Education Requirements:

• J.D. or LL.M. degree from a US ABA-accredited law school
• Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering/science, or chemistry (advanced degree preferred)
