Contract Attorney

Position Description: The Contract Attorney will review, negotiate, and draft vendor contracts; identify and escalate material contract issues.

Key areas of responsibility for the position include:

• Review, negotiate, and draft vendor contracts and other commercial agreements.
• Work with company’s IT-security department to properly manage security risks of technology-vendor contracts.
• Work with internal and external business partners to manage the submission and review of vendor contracts and other commercial agreements.
• Develop guidelines and best-practice procedures related to contract management.
• Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.

Position Requirements:

• J.D. from accredited U.S. law school
• 4+ years relevant law practice in a corporate legal department, law firm, or equivalent setting
• Demonstrated drafting ability and attention to detail
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Preference for experience negotiating and drafting technology agreements that raise cybersecurity risks
• Bar admission to practice law in at least one state
