Must Haves:

• 0-3 years of experience
• California bar license
• Desire to get into insurance defense
• Coachable, trainable, eager to learn

This position is for an Associate attorney with 1-5 years of experience handling the defense of trucking, premises liability, product liability, habitability, assault and battery, construction defect and construction site accidents, commercial and personal line automobile cases in all state and federal courts in the State of California.

Candidates must have strong writing skills, experience handling all aspects of law & motion, skill in preparing and responding to written discovery, the ability to review and summarize documents, including medical records, familiarity with preparing, attending and reporting on depositions and experience with preparing and attending mediations and arbitrations as well as preparing cases for trial. Understanding of medical terminology and experience reviewing and reporting on medical records or the ability to review construction file is a plus.
