As the Senior Compliance Risk Manager at Bezos Academy, you will manage and scale a nationwide risk audit and management program for our growing network of high-quality, tuition-free Montessori-inspired preschools in under-resourced communities nationwide.
You will create risk audit plans for all licensed schools. You will be responsible for identifying, assessing, mitigating, and reporting risks related to preschool regulatory compliance. You will conduct both virtual and onsite audits of preschools with a focus on risk mitigation in strong partnership with school leadership and colleagues. In doing so, you will ensure our preschools are safe and compliant with applicable regulations and organization standards. You will also use your prior experience in the early childhood education sector to escalate risks, develop controls and mitigation plans, generate audit reports, and encourage risk and compliance awareness.
You are a big-picture thinker capable of surveying an array of complex risks. You are knowledgeable about childcare regulations and have the technical experience and skills to audit preschools and provide compliance support. And above all, you are motivated by our mission and eager to join us at the startup phase, supporting our efforts to scale our impact.
