Navistar has a great opportunity for a Regulatory Compliance Manager - Green House Gas (GHG) and Credit Programs.
Based in our World Headquarters in Lisle, IL, the Regulatory Compliance Manager - Green House Gas (GHG) and Credit Programs works in a team-based environment that is tasked with ensuring and maintaining compliance on our Heavy Duty Engine and Vehicle programs.
This highly focused team is responsible for developing the materials for use in agency communications, rulemakings, and reporting activity. The Product Compliance team is the central organization at Navistar that communicates with the US Department of Transportation, the US Environmental Protection Agency, the California Air Resources Board, and Environment and Climate Change Canada. The Product Compliance team directs, fulfills, and helps to satisfy all the requirements that are necessary to sell, service, and support Heavy Duty Engines and Vehicles in the US, Canada, and for export markets. Navistar is looking to grow this team and is seeking out highly motivated team players that can leverage their knowledge and skills in the regulatory arena and carry us into the future of Heavy Duty transportation – with advanced technologies, electrification, and autonomous and connected functionality.
Responsibilities
- Direct the development of complete, comprehensive, and accurate reports for the appropriate regulatory agencies for NOx, GHG Phase II, ACT, and other programs
- Support new program initiatives as related to technology, safety, and emissions
- Research and report on current regulations and proposed rulemakings
- Maintain and adhere with established company processes and policies, with a focus on continuous improvement
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 12 years of regulatory compliance experience
- At least 2 years of lead experience
OR
- Master’s degree
- At least 8 years of regulatory compliance experience
- At least 2 years of lead experience
OR
- At least 14 years of regulatory compliance experience
- At least 2 years of lead experience
Additional Requirements
- Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
